All appointments are required to have a valid credit card on file to book any service, even if you plan to pay with cash at the time of service. Credit card information is securely stored and never shared or charged without your knowledge.

 

Service appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the service start time free of charge

 

Cancellations or reschedules occurring after the 24 hour window are subject to a 50% charge of the full cost of service booked unless we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist.

 

Late arrivals are still required to pay the full cost of the session booked. Please be inside the studio 5-10 minutes before your service start time to ensure that you receive the full service booked.

 

To be fair and courteous to our other clients and staff, 30 minute massage sessions will be cancelled and rescheduled 5 minutes after their scheduled start time if a client is not present. For appointments longer than 30 Minutes, we may still be able to see you for a shorter appointment depending on the time of your arrival and on your therapist’s schedule.

 

No-call no-shows (missing an appointment without contacting the studio) are subject to a 100% charge of the cost of service. In the case of a no-call no-show, the credit card on file will be automatically charged 30 minutes after the scheduled service start time. At that time, the service time slot is also forfeited. Please let us know if you are unable to make it to your appointment.

 

In the case that the credit card charge is unsuccessful at the time of attempted no-call no-show payment, the scheduled client will be required to pay that fee in full before booking another appointment with ONYX Wellness.

 

You are welcome to send someone else in your place if you are unable to make it to your session, just call or text us and let us know!

STUDIO POLICIES

INAPPROPRIATE MISCONDUCT

Inappropriate behavior is forbidden. Any suggestive or aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment and asked not to return. Please be respectful of our profession.

RESPECT FOR PERSONAL NEEDS & BOUNDARIES

The client may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, or stop the massage at any time and is free to leave. Our treatment room doors are never locked.

The client receiving massage work will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. The client and massage therapist will be maintain open communication throughout the entirety of their visit to ONYX Wellness.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Requests for inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities if the therapist chooses under the forth set guidelines of the massage therapy policies and procedures. The client will be banned from all ONYX Wellness facilities if this occurs.

The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. Permission will be asked before working close to these areas; otherwise, a professional distance will be maintained.

We do not massage anyone under the age of 18 without signed intake form from parent/legal guardian. Parent must be present for first session and must be the one to schedule the appointment(s) after the first session. Parent/legal guardian must be present in the room for anyone under the age of 16.

ONYX Wellness has the right to refuse service to any person for any reason, and as such, the therapist or client may end the massage session at anytime. If the therapist feels at any point their safety is compromised, the session will be stopped immediately and authorities may be called and full payment is due.
